Louise's Waymarker

I was invited to make a totem pole with the learning support staff and students at Ullswater Community College in Penrith. The totem pole was made in memory of Louise, who's favourite pastimes included fellwalking and nature rambles. The students drew and caved images to those themes.

Thanks Martin

Aballava

A seat with a roman theme made with the pupils at Burgh By Sands Primary School. "Aballava" was the name of the roman fort on Hadrian's Wall that was once next to the school . "Aballava" is the latin word for orchard.

Kingfisher Totem at Rickerby Park, Carlisle

These photos weren't taken by me but I found them posted on the internet by a visitor to the park this winter

Photos of work in progress. Kingfishers and otters found in the nearby River Eden are the theme of the totem pole.
