The Pitman's Trail

Henshaw Junior School (near Bardon Mill, Northumbria) helped me carve an entrance arch for a new woodland walk in their local park, "The Pitman's Trail". The park was built on the site of the former Bardon Mill Colliery. The arch was made from trees from the woods behind.





















Cleaswell Hill School

Pupils from Cleaswell Hill High School (which is near Ashington, Northumbria) carved individual tiles which were used to create a totem style entrance sign for their wildlife area and garden
