Garden steps and woven fence, Hayton, Cumbria
Work in progress, May 2007. Steps leading up to a new terrace
In 2005, Mary and Steve's 400 year old yew tree blew down in the winter storms.
I used the branches to create a woven fence. An arch opens to a path of steps meandering down the hillside.
